Cool Kickstarter - FairyTale, Zombie, Steampunk Characters

I have backed most of all the Cool Mini Kickstarters, love my Zombicide (though I'm ready for the rest of the figures!) and really looking forward to Rivet Wars.

Tonight I was just looking around at new games on Kickstarter and accidentally found this one. I apologize if someone has already posted this, but I was intrigued by some of the figures and thought some of you might like to look at them as well. I like BAD fairy tale characters, and some of these really fit the bill!

I really wanted to get in on this but I didn't want a alot of mini's and as an international backer (UK based) means I can't join in til the $60 pledge and then its for mainly the game :( Its a shame as I really would have liked to get 3 of the models :(

Yeah, same here. I really liked some of the miniatures, and I would've pledged immediately if there was a pledge level for just the miniatures line.

I'll bet there is a fair few people that have been put off by not being allowed to join in at the lower pledge levels due to the shipping in the USA only.

Don't know if you noticed but there is a level that you can buy just miniatures. This includes the 40 that are no longer available anywhere else. I think it is about $240 dollars, but if my math is right - it should figure about $3 a figure.

I do agree with concerns about International purchases.

Hope everybody has a good day. Again, not involved or know these folks but I really do like some of the minis!

Wow, the art and ideas look really thought out for this one.l I just have one suggestion, since I'm currently watching Journey to the West: MONKEY KING SEPERATE!!!

I have to agree Int'l shipping on this KS is just a way to get money. I was just on the US Post Office website and the Flat rate 8-5/8" x 5-3/8" x 1-5/8" (Maximum weight 4 pounds) is about $25 for standard 6-10 day shipping. As we all know, "small" is a relative term in the mini world, and you could probably fit about 30 loose ones in there! Then again, if they have a deal with UPS, they screwed themselves because that company really doesn't have a slow international rate, so you pay out big bucks for the convenience of 3 day shipping.

..But then, I consider this somewhat Karmic retribution for all the UK Kickstarters I've missed because of the stupid monetary rate.

I know what you mean but I don't want that amount of models :( that works out at about £175 (roughly) Don't have that kind of money to throw at it :'(

just go onto the Guild of Harmony web site. you can buy a lot of these miniatures individually. sculpted by Sebastian W W Archer. not as cheap but I am sure there are other places to buy these.

Zab

Almost Perftec! Aw, crap.
Thanks! Most are nic,e but I'm not interested in all of them and I fear The Lady Inquisitor's raised eyebrow should I partake of another KS. :tremble:

I'm very familiar with Guild of Harmony and I own most of those figures - and these are NOT the same ones. If you look closely the figures in the kickstarter are not currently offered anywhere.

Hey Zab - I do UNDERSTAND! LOL

Well I decided to back at a box set for now so I could get updates etc. and will decide if I want all of the miniatures soon. I think if they had been able to have more of the 3d prints on display - folks would be screaming for them - but with an abundance of kickstarters - think these will be ones that folks may miss out on. My favorites so far are Zombie Jack and Jill, Jabberwock, Twiddle Sisters, Mad Hatter and Rumplestilskin.

For me, its not the raised eyebrow that I fear, its the glacial stare.

There are some tempting figures in that lot, but I'm not gonna add to the thousands I've already got, without Damn fine reason.(Dragons are of course exempt from that statement).
