Cake or Death?
So I joined the Bolter and Chainsword a while back, and while I\'m not a huge fan of the forums, they have a really neat army painter web program that allows you to virtually paint a marine, terminator or Sister of Battle. Pretty cool.
Then, because the underworld froze over, my mother decided that she liked the minis I painted for Warhammer 40k and wanted to get her own army of marines. And of course she wanted me to paint them Livery Green and Squid Pink (Vallejo).
I used the army painter to show her what it would look like, but she was never happy because the paint colors in her hands didn\'t match what I could find on screen.
Riding to the rescue is the Silicone Dragons. They have an awesome color matching web app that can look up the range of paints you use, and spit out the hexadecimal number to use in the B&C army painter. I don\'t yet know how else I\'m going to use this, but I thought it was worth a share for those of you who haven\'t seen the color app yet.
