what do you like? look at the ranges available and see what floats your boat. for me, i would like to see a group of imperial guard against a bunch of traitor guard. the traitors would be very similar but with few, but important differences. markings, tats, piercings, torn uniform etc. if you have to make it it\'s importatnt that you are inspired though
i might go with the beating tau into submission idea , coz my freinds tau army annoys the hell outa me...
but im not sure about chaos....maybe thousand sons...then again they arent quite good at C&C poor buggers dont get an extra attack for charging.
i have an idea..quite a few nids beating them sensless would be so funney or some howling banshees....or a carnifex!

:flip::bouncy::flip::bouncy:Nonono, tyranids are animals - there is no glory to fight them, nor is there any prestige loss in loosing to them, they are animals. It\'s basically the same thing as being run over by a bus - just bad luck
You know what - i might just do this myself - i really don\'t like tau but love chaos (my friend plays them aswell)...
My idea was to show exactly how ignorant tau is - trying to hold their own in this assault taking horrific casualties by chain swords for the greater good, the Ethereal\'s flimsy body being run through with a power weapon - and the desperation the survivors face during this ordeal, mohahaha... Leadership test anyone?!?
I know it\'s not a fair fight but lets face it - it\'s always better to kick somebody already lying down in order to win decisively.

hmmm how about a poor poor squad of fire warriors accompanied by an eathreal being absoulotuly wasted in close combat by a single lord....maybe a demon prince
i was thinking with \'nids there would be some cool conversions with a carnifex with two pairs of sything talons the lower pair sweeping the battle field and the top pair with a fire warrior and an earthreal on seperate talons being impaled...and a very gorey \'nid

I have to say Nurgle would be nice, lots of possibilities for conversions and individual warriors

How about a last stand? Space Marines have tons of heroic last stands....but what about an Imp Guard last stand? Or perhaps a Tau last stand where tech matters less then their willingness to fight?

Go for what you want t paint..If you don\'t do that you won\'t finish it...
As far as conversion ideas make sure all elements are relevant..Take time to reposition the models so they are interacting with each other..show ovement and keep some semblance of reality....and also remember with a diorama the base neds as much if not more attntion than the minis themselves...

Khorne beserkers coming over a tau defence wall as seen in wrhammer world by some all guns blazing cpule of sculpts on bullet through heads and some close combat too.

How about Tau FREEMing some charging Khorne Berserkers from half a mile away, you could set up the squads at opposite ends of the display table.
