Conversion bits

Has anyone used the Scibor Space Marine bits, in paticular the shoulder pads ?
I was going to use them on my old plastic marine set, the bird beak helmet ones.
My question is how are they made inside, hollow, solid , I can't tell from the catalog.
Thanks for any info

@freak - i think he was refering to the shoulder pads.

I haven't bought any myself but I would imagine they are the same as the GW / FW ones in that they are designed to go over marines arms. I'm not sure how well they will go on the beakies as their arms were a single piece with the shoulder pad being integral to the arm. They are also quite a bit smaller than todays marines so the pads will probably look somewhat oversized.

Thanks
I was thinking the same thing, I will stick to painting my designs. Time consuming but cheaper.
Now I need to find more beaky parts.

Get some greenstuff and sculpt your own custom pads. Then make greenstuff press molds to mass-produce them. Your final result should be at least as good quality as Scibor's product (or likely a lot better), and something unique to be proud of as well :)

I bought that old box of beakies way back in the day; they were a lot of fun to paint up as a young lad, and they look so cool. An excellent choice for an army.
