comand squad question

The veterans from the comand squad that we can purchase with the space marine captain can have a bunch of nice weapons upgrade. But can these guyz: company champion, apothecary, standard bearer get weapons from the veteran list ?

Any veteran can replace his chain sword and/or his bolt pistol with: bah bah bah bah

Apothecary and standard bearer: yes, company champion: no. The apothecary's narthecium and the company banner are additional equipment with no bearing on the veteran's weapons. The veteran's "promotion" to Company Champion explicitly states "power weapon and combat shield". Thus, he doesn't have a "chain sword and/or bolt pistol" to replace.

Actually, the apothecary cannot take veteran upgrades.

The codex says that the command squad is composed of "4 Veterans, 1 Apothecary," so it is only those 4 veterans that can choose upgrades for veterans. If you make one of those veterans a company champion, then you only have 3 veterans that can choose those upgrades. The standard bearer is considered a veteran.

i had a bad ass termi comand squad that dont make any sence not aapothcary tech marine company champion standard bearer all in therminator now that rolled with my chaplain in a LR crusaider
