hi folks

I was wondering what (GW)colours are the best to use when you\'re painting se-nmm or nmm

try looking in the articles section - there may be a comprehensive list there. for starters, try blue grays for steel nmm and browns for gold

for steel/silver i mixed up a pot of 50/50 shadow grey and chaos black. add small amounts of white to the mix for each highlight.

for gold i use scorched brown basecoat, followed by snakebite leather. add bubonic brown to the snakebite leather and highlight up to pure bubonic brown, then add amounts of white for the final highlights.

hope this helps,
matt

For steel/silver I use Codex Grey+
Shadow Grey(3:1) with a couple of drops of Chaos Black, then mix it up to Fortress Grey, then up to pure Skull White.

For Gold I use Bubonic Brown+a couple op drops of Chaos Black, mix it up to Bubonic Brown, add Bleached Bone and paint the parts with the most reflections with pure Skull White.
