Colour Suggestions for Nurgle Horses?

I am painting up a unit of Nurgle Chaos Knights and I\'m a bit stuck on coming up with a colour scheme for the horseflesh. Can anyone suggest a good recipe?

The overall colour scheme of the knights is heavily tarnished bronze (quite greenish). I haven\'t decided on the accent colour for cloth etc. as I want it to compliment both the armour & flesh.

Oh, and I suppose since this is my first post I should say \"Hello all!\"

I\'m currently painting some nurgle knights as well. I\'m going for a pale look on the horses. I started by priming them white, then giving them a wash of Vallejo \"Smokey Ink\" and GW Brown ink, and i\'m going to highlight the legs and what\'s seen of the necks and so up to a pale grey/white tone. Trying to go for the biblical death on a pale white horse.

Now i know how im doing my Nurgle Champion wihihihi! Sounds pretty good, altough i might use some greenish tints here and there...

I suggest some blueish nuances perhaps will do well in the greenish you have already grunts1175, perhaps some purple even?

I got some great results by painting the washed barding of the horses like the following: A mix of Vallejo Gun metal and Smokey Ink (Gave a nice pale brass/bronze tone) And then i added a couple of thin layers Dark Green and Smokey Ink and a devlan mud was on top of that to get a dirty looking dark green look.

you can see the WIP result here in my WIP-thread:

For the knight\'s shields i just did the same white primer - brown ink thing first and the added a layer of black/green ink and finished it off with an additional layer of brown ink. And then Gold for the chaos arrows. It needs a bit of high lightning as well, but looks pretty good. I\'ll probably post a new pic tomorrow.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I painted the skin up last weekend after hearing a suggestion elsewhere about painting it up to look like it has mange and all the hair fell out. Heres a wip pic

I\'ve applied a brighter highlight as it seems pretty one dimensional in the pic. unfortunately my gf has borrowed my camera cord so I\'m not able to upload a pic of the finished model.
@ donga666 - WOW! thanks for that link, thats awesome! I might just have to go back over and try to add that effect to the steed.
