Hi Ted \all.
I was hoping for some aid please if anyone is able.
Unfortunately I haven't got my wave 2 gear yet, but rivet wars and this great community has inspired me to create some custom grid sized terrain, (wip pics coming soon) which thus far is going great.
BTW perfect find for terrain in uk- '99p stores +' sell a green army men style police and fire set that has double sided brick textured wall sections in perfect rivet scale. They are softish grey plastic, so easily cut, and don't need primer, also there are railings perfect for windows, gantries, cages etc. I bought all 13 that my local store in Ipswich had, if you live near a store trust me get down there.
Anyway back to help, as stated elsewhere I paint like a chronic narcoleptic during shock therapy, so I'm simply hoping to colour match these pieces and custom units I've made (pics soon) to the actual unpainted game pieces.
So can anybody with wave 2\Ted tell me what brand and number paint they have found that matches the light grey, allied green, and base\ 3d terrain please.
Oh, and if anyone's interested I've so far got a multi grid (partially) modular VIP pow block on the go, also 2 huge field guns made, (awaiting wave 2 gunners\ infantry to feed dremal) a mast for the telberg campaign, and my favourite so far, a custom factory for decars excellent latest scenario. All they are waiting for is the right colour paints - currently had 1 coat of revell 17 matt-african brown.
Also planned are a graveyard, clockwork soldier factory, large church, warehouse, shack, and hanger+control tower+airstrip. Most will be multi grid and modular where possible, some for scenarios\houserule ideas I'm working on as strategic objectives, others to just look cool as they will all have fully infantry pideas le interiors like those completed.
If any other ideas for stuctures I'd love to hear them.
