I think Jeff\'s tank is the best entry, though my favourite is Ferrus Manus in the honourable mentions section.

Wow! The Primarchs! Those look like they would have been worth the price of admission to see in person.
ARRRGH! the open competition, the skaven slave giant. I was going to do the thing with the open brain controling thingie, I swear someone is reading ideas out of my brain :cussing::cussing:

I\'ve seen the brain like that before as well, but keep in mind the Slave Giant from Warhammer Large (first cut) was by our very own hakomike.

my fav

my favourite is Jeremie\'s eldar clown thing with the awesome freehand. The smoothness (paint wise) still appears the best and the freehand is top notch (not as good as his elephant, but still)...

personally i think most of the pre-heresy pieces by team america should have made it into the finals instead of honorable mentions. just my opinion. i still dont think america is top dawg to the french, BUT its beginning to get closer.

rock on and congrats team america, wap and wife and everyone else who won.:)

Sadly, they aren\'t called \"Team America\". They\'re Team NORTH America, which does a good job of obscuring the efforts of individual teams such as Team Toronto and Team Montreal.

Well, I\'m a Chicago GD veteran from it\'s inception and while I can\'t speak for US Games Days I haven\'t attended, I can safely say that this was the mother of Chicago Demon competitions.

I just want to quickly give a special shout out to James and Cathy. The Ws were encouraged by lots of people to give Chicago a try and I\'m really glad they did. Great job you guys and I hope you make it an annual event.

Always good to see AinuLainour. Chris and I are thinking of coming to Toronto next year. I think that would be a great trip.

All in all, a great competition. The team is already planning for 2008.

It was pretty high up there for US GDs. It would be great to see you guys up in Canada, just to put things on edge a little.

But I hope you see what I mean about the whole team thing having potential to get very confusing.

There is no confusion... It is a name! The Montreal Canadien are called the Canadien but does not represent the Canadians per say. A team is a group of painters that work together in order to improve their skill and kick up their motivation! They represent themselves and nothing else. The name is just a name!

Again! Glad I came. It was a great weekend and the level was high! Dave you\'re welcome in Toronto anytime my friend!

I guess.. but I didn\'t mean it was confusing at the moment. I meant it has potential when the other teams gain more prominence.
