Hi all,
my main painting thread has been a little unloved for the past few months, due to the arrival of my daughter. I've had very little time to paint.
However, my job is as a 3D artist and I have had some time to combine my work with my hobby, so I have started on a series of character sculpts, while testing a number of rapid prototypes and 3D printers for a feature I'm writing in 3D World magazine.
My plan is to sculpt a small number of these characters to start with and to have masters printed. I'm yet to decide if I mood and cast the sellable busts. I'm still waiting for some tests to be delivered.
In the meantime I thought I would share my first with you. Please ignore the chip on the chest. My own clumsiness.
I would love to hear your thoughts on it and if you would share with me if it is something you would buy to paint then say so. If there is something you aren't sure of then please do say.
