okay so im about to get this chaos army from my friend (SCORE!!!) and i was curious what you guys think i should do with it. what god of chaos should it take, heres the list

HQ-1 Chaos Lord with powerfist and closecombat weapon

Elites- 1 Terminator

Troops-2 squads of chaos marines and a rhino

Fast Attack-1 Squad of 5 raptors

Heavy Support- 2 Olbiterators, 1 Drednaught, 1 Land Raider

Now keep in mind that only 2 models in this whole army are painted so im pretty open to suggestions god wise and whatnot thanks

Go with Undivided...they have more options and none of the squads you mentioned quite \"fit in\" with the weapons and such of any of the powers, with the possible exception of Nurgle.:flip::bouncy:

You can\'t really do thousand sons (Tzeentch), as you wouldn\'t be able to use the oliterators or raptors

I would say one of the undivided legions would be best, even though they aren\'t as interesting as the others

Night Lords

I asked on the Games Workshop forum this same question and 2 out of 3 replies suggested Night Lords, would that be a smart descision or a waste?

p.s. i forgot i also have a squad of 3 bikers

Night Lords, yeah, could be good, colour scheme is good, just depends on how you feel about their headresses, some people loathe them


Their fluff is cool, and they can get extra fast attack choices, should be useful with your bikes and raptors

Exactly.

The Night Lords are supposed to be fearsome and horrific. The oh-fishul NL heads look like those novelty umbrella hats.

A possible swap with some of the newer CSM Havoc heads, or the older Raptor heads would be a far better substitute.

My god their rediculous!! are those the new models? In the chaos rulebook they don\'t have those massive clownhats!

They rank right up there with the Bullwinkle Farseer, and the Shining \"Can you say Wind Resistance\" Spear Exarch. Definitely not one of GW\'s smartest design decisions.
But that pic (though nicely painted) does not fit in with the dirty, rough and horrific Night Lords as their Index Astartes Article describes them. That paint job is too clean. Where are all of the grisly gorey trophies, the blood stains?

Yeah, Dark angels Raven wing and White Scars Space marines can field armies composed of just bikers:flip::bouncy:
