Ello people, new to these parts but sure that wont be for long.wont bore you with an intro i\'ll just show you the pics so you can all share your welth of knowlage with me.

been painting some FW bezerkers for my new chaos army; and the one if finished is by far teh best mini i\'ve ever painted.

not sure if the pictures will be massive or not have to see. they have been altered slightly in photoshop so u can get a better idea of what they look like, got a really crappy camera.

Lovely, nice visceral red you got there. Only thing I might suggest is maybe make the eye-lenses a bit brighter if you want to go down the \'osl\' route (I\'m assuming that\'s what the green rim around the eyes is)? Otherwise very nice.

the eyes go all the way to 50/50 scorpion green skull white. must be the pcs cause in real life it looks brighter. of maybe its just me.

Looks good, but it is hard to tell with the pictures. You might try a darker background. Maybe crop closer in photoshop and then adjust the colors, that way most of the white is removed first.

I think half the problem is that the light is coming from directly above the model, you can tell by the shadows.

You ideally want two strong light sources, placed in front of and to each side of the mini. That way you get most shadows eliminated from the picture. Obviously ambient overhead light will be sufficient for the top of the model. I know it sucks if you don\'t have two lamps to help with photos, but they really make a huge difference.

Anyway the minis look decent, but you\'re going to have to develop the blends/hilights a bit more to make them really stand out. The colors are very dark which is fine, but they lack the contrast without much shading/hilighting.

I hope you can get your photo situation sorted out, there\'s a lot of noise in the pics and (combined with the lighting) it\'s hard to tell what the model actually looks like.

Be sure to post some more pics!

Nice start, glad to see you have a wip started

I like the red, clean painting. I agree with the photo\'s being hard to see what is going on.

Try a light box, or just get another lamp

cheers for all the replies so quickly, will try and sort out some decent pictures asap. camera is abit terd though.

probably going to sound stupid but read afew things about people needing to improve there blending. how do i go about making colours blend together???? for years ive tried and failed so just stuck with \"extreme\" highlighting with doesn\'t look half as good imo.
