Hi guys, this is the first mini I\'ve started in over two years. The last one I painted (Imperial Confessor Kyrinov) was a continuation of one that I had almost finished before I stopped painting.
I\'m quite happy with the reds. Started with several thin layers of red gore for an undercoat, mixed in blood red for a few thin layers, and then mixed in some bronzed flesh for a couple layers of final highlights.
The sword does not look nearly as bad in real life, but the metllics came out really shiny/reflective in the pic. I\'m going for a really rusty look but trying to keep the middle line and edges shiny. Any tips? It is still WIP and I might just strip it and paint it again.
