Cannot Grant Vicorty Points

The Freedmen and the Skinchanger Bear both "cannot grant victory points".....
- Is this meant to be exactly like Free Folk Raiders and only affect Victory Through Combat?
- Or is this meant to prevent more types of sources of VPs, and if so, which exactly?

Sources of VPs.....
- Victory Through Combat
- Objectives (obvious no for the Freedmen, but what about the Bear)
- Secret Missions
- Targaryen Commander Cards
- Being Marked at the start of the game in Fire and Blood
- Getting a VP placed on the unit in Fire and Blood
- Being destroyed by a Commander unit in Clash of Kings
- Destroying a Commander in Clash of Kings
- Controlling a quadrant in Here We Stand

Ignoring "Victory Through Combat" and "cannot grant Victory Points" are not the same rule (though "cannot grant Victory Points" also covers Victory Through Combat by nature of its effect. It is important to expressly look at each effect that is causing the additional VP and what it is actually affecting. Some effects generate VP on triggered conditions, independent of the unit that triggered them (Destroy X Combat Units, generic example) whereas others would grant direct bonuses based on the unit.

Note: This area can become more "technical" than intended and is subject to review in later FAQ/Errata passes to generally streamline such effects. My current answer is based on said wording and interaction, but for sake of said streamlining, there is a strong chance such effects will be ruled to never grant victory points, in any capacity (eg, Victory Through Combat, being marked via Game Modes, etc).
