Can i pour metal into a rubber mold?

thinkin about castin my sculpts so i was wonderin can i make a metal miniature with a rubber mold. PVT i think the rubbers called?

Elastocil M4470 might be the sort of thing you\'re looking for. Warning: it\'s pricey!

Do you think that i could cast decent minis in resin?

Eastern Front has some nice stuff in resin.

Most of Verlindin\'s 1/35 scale stuff is in resin.

A good chunk of the large scale stuff I\'ve seen in the last 30 or so years is resin, as are most of the \"Garage\" Kits I\'ve seen.

So yes, resin is doable.

thanks Steelcult we are doing small stuff at the moment but yeah Forgeworld leads the charge in large cool stuff..but pricey.

What your looking for is RTV, its Room Temperature Vulcanizing silicone rubber. They make different types and some for high temperatures like Pewer.

First question is where are you located so I can direct you towards a materials supplier for rubber, metal or resin.
