Hi everyone !

As this is my very first post on a CMON forum, I\'ll say a few words to introduce myself. I\'m french, I\'m 21, my name is Mathieu and I have been painting for 3 years now. I just wanted to show you my last paintjob on a bust sculpted by french painter (and now sculptor ) Romain. If you\'re interested in getting your hands on one of these busts, you can send Romain an email at romvdb@yahoo.fr, he\'ll be pleased to answer you. For those of you who will come to France for the 2006 Games Day, he will certainly have a few copies with him :)

I hope you\'ll enjoy it, and that I\'m in the right place to post my pic

Thank you!

Breathtaking work !
Intensity and beauty ,
Please..Are you using oils? acrylics or both?
You know if you ever have time as you are painting there is a Work in Progress thread @ Painting & Conversions Area...be really thrilling if you post as you are painting I would love to see something like this in the progress of painting to learn from.
Do you do mostly large models or also 28mm etc?
Maybe too many questions at once Sorry...

Welcome to CMON I am thrilled to see such work... thank you for sharing.

Thank you all for your comments! nice to see that you appreciate this bust :)

To answer your questions TAB Studio, I only use acrylics, mostly Games Workshop and Vallejo ones. This is my very first \"large model\" usually I paint 28mm minis and I\'m currently working on a few 54 mm historical figures.

If you want, later on I will post closer pics so that you will see a bit more clearly the distinct tones, maybe it will be useful for some of you :)

Well I forgot to say that the scale is 45mm, so it\'s not that big...

If you have any criticism or questions feel free to ask, and don\'t forget to send a mail to Romain if you want one :D
