Bit late finding this forum!

Rather than flood this thread with old pictures I will pop a few pics of the overall SDE collection so far and if you feel like it hop over the the website http://www.tanksandtrolls.co.uk/SDE.htm Lots more close-ups there, really, really enjoyed painting the SDE stuff, always looking forward to the next release! Hope you enjoy looking as much as I enjoy painting!






I always like to add a little bling to my games so you might find my home-made modular 3D board interesting too, certainly makes for some great atmospheric games, again lots of WIP pics over on my website http://www.tanksandtrolls.co.uk/Krosmaster%20SDE.htm
It actually started as a Krosmaster project but I quickly realised how cool this would be for use with SDE too, the rest is history, I will probably create new boards as specific SDE expansions become available just to keep things interesting

Oh Dear,
I keep getting up some interest in SDE then talking myself out of it, mainly through looking at the hordes of unpainted stuff I already have. Then something like this comes along and I'm right back to square one thinking I'm missing something!
Awesome work, just a quick question - some of these odds and ends really seem to spice up the dungeon. Would you consider selling a cast or 2 of them?

You should definitely get SDE. It's really fun to play and the Minis are fun to paint - they were something completely different for me as I was mainly used to the grim dark. And they are actually quick and easy to paint - just get the eyes right and you're golden.

Kirchhauser is bang on, its so much fun to paint these little guys after the usual sci fi and military stuff I paint, the eyes are a lesson in relaxation in themselves :)

Anyhooo

King Starfire finished. Seeing as he is essentially a more powerful version of the original SDE boss I decided to stick with the same colours (and I'm lazy like that). If anyone is planning on getting him I would reco bending the tail back a little using hot water and adding a little weight to the base (I used an old metal monster base I found) as he is a little front heavy stock

Love the sculpt, really looks like he is using his 'pounce' ability!

I really want to know how I can get ahold of some of modular tiles like these. I love everything about how they look. Do you have a guide on how to get started on something like this? Most things I have ever seen about things like this are always about super realistic gritty environments.

Still haven't got round to opening that forgotten King KS and I have legendary and ninja pledges incoming sometime soon!

However I did get a little time a while ago to paint these ladies and gents up just to keep my hand in on the chibi style...hopefully find some time to do the rest...soon.........

Hi guys, sorry about the late replies, only just remembered about this thread! finally opened the forgotten king box and grabbed a random handful of minis!



Regarding the tiles, just giving them a workover and should be taking them to kickstarter soon, have been working on some more scenery elements for it here are some WIP pics :)







I have also been working on blinging over the Kros Quest scenery as it will be possible to use the boards for either SDE or Kros as scenery elements will be interchangable

That's the Kros Quest stuff painted, all fits nicely into a couple of layers of an F4 KR case. Now to crack on creating some kros monsters and painting the rest of the SDE scenery up...no rest for the wicked!

Finished the gobs, sculpted some tofu variants and painted em (I know its Kros but I intend to Krosover with SDE...see what I did there :p)! Also found a little time to paint up the SDE style knights armour and library sets
