Hello!

I'm Balázs Schuller hobby-sculptor from Hungary, this is my first post on this excellent forum. This is a marine what was inspirated by the Inqusitor sketchbook. It was mad from milliput, pro create, green stuff and metal, brass. Oh, and the scale, it's 54mm.

Cheers,
Balázs

Pretty nice sculpt mate. Gratz.
(Just one small thing wich feels not correct for me. Right hand - that part holding weapon seems for me a bit strange - more like a "guitar fingers pose" than wearing weapon - but could be just camera angle or something. Just to give you some feedback - no offense of course).
Anyway - Well done mate.

The sculpt doesn't look in propotion to me. Remember that the armour is meant to be about 7cm thick, with a super soldier underneath. At the moment he looks as thin as a cotton shirt!

I agree, but I think it depends on how the Op wants the sculpt to be seen. If the marine is just holding the weapon, then it's passable. But, if it's supposed to be a fighting pose, then the wrist needs more of an inward twist toward the body with the fingers tightly grasping the haft.

That is an excellent sculpt!

a good start, make sure you keep your edges sharp. also, it may be the photos but his right hand looks as if it only has 3 fingers

Thank you all!

:glasses-cool:I must say I don't know the warhammer world so good, usualy I make Historical figures but I like this subject too. In the future I would like to sculpt more fantasy and warhammer figures.
My colleague is a great WH 40k fan, he is a bookrestorer. I get a lot of inspiration about him. He had made for 3 weeks a special birthday present for his brother Ian Watsons Warhammer universum like a Warhammer priest's codex:

Great work I think.

So, you had many questions. I have been make figures for a long time. Yes, maybe the body is very thick, the next will be biger. The "guitar fingers pose" is right, I will cast this figure, and the resin version will be better positioned. Oh, and he has 5 fingers of cours, just the photo was therible. And yes, usually my pictures aren't so good :disapointed: I will buy later a new camera.

Thanks again!

Cheers,
Balázs
