I can not get my stupid boar for my orc warboss right! I have undercoated it in chaos black and keep trying to add skull white and snakebite leather to it but it always comes out terrible... what should I do?
P.S
I only have the beginner paints with an exception of commando khaki.:flame:
Please help!

Are you drybrushing it? Because that would be the easiest way to do it, just undercoat black then drybrush with snakebite leather, then drybrush lightly with bleached bone (if you have it?)

Streight white on Snakebite leather makes a wierd colour. I would use the kakhi ;)
I like to undercoad fur a brown/black mix then drybrush like matty said. :)

Well what colour is it you are after? If you want a brown boar you could get a decent enough effect undercoating it white, painting it commando kakhi then adding some black to the kakhi and a fair bit of water too, and using this to shade the whole surface. Once that is dry add some white to the kakhi, wipe most of it off your brush, then brush it gently over the surface to pick out the top of the fur.

Undercoat it white. Then paint it snake bite. Do a brown wash. The redo snakebite. Then mix Bleach bone and snake bite for highlights.

I then do a dark line along the spine. Should take about 20 minutes to paint the boar this way.

do a 50/50 mix of black and your color of choice as the bottom layer and build off of that. It works for me even on white and yellow.
