Bloody Lorry Drivers

maybe he finally had enough of the little cars cutting him off and turning in front of him?

Not saying it's right, but that I understand the reaction. Nothing like pushing 40 tons and having some Honda with a coffee can muffler jump right in front of you, then slam on the brakes to make a turn.

How the hell would you not be able to notice this stuck to the front of your vehicle.

If you notice, the car is well below the windshield, if this is a right hand steering wheel (most likely) the small car is well out of line of sight of the driver of the truck. I have similar problems with concrete pillars in parking lots with my 4X4 Explorer.
The problem with those smaller economy cars is that there isn't much weight to them, so yeah, if you're in a truck designed to carry massive tonnage, hitting a little car like that is as noticeable as a pothole in the road.

Also, to reemphasize what Airhead said, people tend to forget that their smaller cars can stop a heck of a lot faster than the big trucks can, and take huge risks because of this. I can't even begin to count how many wrecks I've seen due to people not matching speed on the interstate and misjudging how fast a truck is coming or simply whipping out in front of said truck.

I'd like to get the whole story myself.

Apparently accidents like that are quite common here because foreign lorrys will have left hand drive so they have a larger blindspot on the right where a car can be and the driver will not even see them. So if they change to a fast lane on the right it can spin a car round the front like in the clip. Fifth Gear did a thing on that at some stage, can't quite remember because I must have been mad or drunk to watch fifth gear in the first place!
