So... I have been lurking around here for a looooooong time now. During this time I've been doing a bit o' this and that in modelling.
So far only GW though and not at all that much. During the last 6 months I've managed to assemble (and to some minor degree convert) a couple of lousy catachan guys. Though, the last months saw a rise in activites and since december I've put together a unit of the "new" and beautiful Chaos Knights, converted and painted a Chaos Hero, and done most of the conversions for a DP.
This is my second DP-conversion that is based on the same model. And the model being utterly and completely fugly is the reason for the conversions. It is, of course, the "Fuck, I really need to take a crap right here and now"-metal DP that GW released for 40k some years back.
The first thing I had in mind was to get rid of the pose, so I cut of and repositioned his left leg. Thereafter I went out to create a dynamic pose and lengthen the torso. I also repositioned his right arm in order to get the new pose. After this I've added the fur cloaks to get some added sense of movement and gave some scuplting a go in order to get some details on him. I also added horns. Moar Hoaarns!
There! C&C is welcome!
Better pics hopefully coming this weekend
