Blood Angel Terminator WIP

It's been a very long time since I painted anything properly. I've got the bug back and have started this Blood Angel Terminator from the Space Hulk set.

So far the method has been simply GW Blood Red applied in around 10 layers, building up the highlights.

There are a couple of parts that need touching up, the knee pad now I've taken a photograph could be smoother for example.

nice looking mini do you use the metal primer much? I still do not feel safe with anything but black:dont-know:, am trying gray ATM.

I reccomend dark grey. Far easier to paint onto than black, and looks better too imo.

I've never tried anything other than black and white primer either, never had any problems with them so haven't really thought about trying otherwise.
