I was wondering if people would be basing their models. I'm really looking forward to seeing what people do with their forces. Thanks for being the first brave painter to share!!!!

Thank you guys. I had the rest of the blight infantry on the table last night, they're about halfway done. I'll post more when they're finished.

nice work, really like the details you added, like gaston's glasses. The red helmets for your heros is a great idea as well, as we've played hell telling the sniper apart from regular panzer. The base work looks really great too, nicely done!

Very cool. The way you painted Gaston's Goggles does make it look like real glass with some green gas swirling behind it. Nice work.

Thanks Ted. They are fantastic models to paint, the large surface areas are really fun to tackle. I base coated the mono wheels, so they'll be up next

Oh neat! Nice job!! I can't wait to start painting mine.

Love that you added tracks for that many-ton wheel.

Thank you guys. It didn't occur to me until really late to add them, and I'm glad i did. I basically just left the track area blank from glue when I laid the ballast and then filled it in a bit with Vallejo Dark Earth paste. And then painted my browns over it.

Can't wait for the extra blitz models to come in. That's when the real painting begins for me XD

These look great though. I'm not going to go for extreme detail like I usually do or did with my Dust stuff. I think this'll be a little laid back, and look better in my opinion, as it fits the theme a little better. Glad you noticed that as well!

What paints did you end up using?

I normally use a Delta Ceramcoat with flesh, metals, and washes from Citadel. But, for the Blight, I did pick up the Flames of War german infantry paint set. I'm glad I did, the greys and greens are fantastic in it. I am doing a bit more towards speed and less with detail in this game, but as I told Ted above I love the style of the models and some of the large square footage to cover, even on smaller stature models. It makes some really simple paint schemes pop really well.

I am no fan of citadel, and miss their old stuff. But alas, Vallejo here I come.

Oh and excited to see the artillery...
