Blast from the past - Chaos Squat in Exo armour

I have had this mini for nearly 20 years now and have never put paint on it before. I love the mini\'s so much I can\'t believe it took me so long to do it :redface:
I decided to \'modernise\' it a little by using some of the current plastic spiky bits and an icon as well as use a bit of NMM on parts of it. Back in \'the day\' NMM was almost unheard of in GW mini painting circles :).
This was a really fun mini to paint - Long live the squats!!

Any feedback or votes always appreciated...

The exoarmour that squats wore was the equivilent of terminator armour but not quite as strong; 4+ save on 2 dice rather than 3+.

Back in the day these fellas were affectionatly known as eggs on legs
lol
Can\'t think why. They did make a squat version of the cyclone terminator armour and that looked even more hilarious. Strangely enough it was never released; and shortly afterwards the squats disappeared as well.

sweet and just the tonic for me.. got the good guy versions sat in a drawer came across them last week .. may well have to slap a bit of paint on one...

@ Scott ... they did do a good guys Exo on bike. It didn\'t really work all that well in terms of style. Probably quite rare these days.

I want a squat for my minis collection....but this one makes me think again because I would shame their memory with my painting of one. lol
