I suffer from a cronic bad back but my sciatica is as bad as its been for a year so much so that my foot keep going to sleep. On the plus side it does not affect my ability to paint (what ability I have that is) and the drugs are making me feel very nice just now... anyway off to chase pink elephantslol

I know I don\'t know you at all, but be REAL careful with back pain drugs, okay?

They can help you paint like a demon at first, but withdrawals from even conservative prescription amounts really suck. For me, the nerve pain wasn\'t as bad as the withdrawals.

do not worry only take the pills when it this bad make do with exersize and heat rest of the time. Have only used them about dozen time this year as you say nerve pain is controlable most of the time

Know exactly how you feel. I\'m struggling with sciatica one side and arthritis the other and the cold weather doesn\'t help.

you seen your gp about this? if your whole foot is going numb, it could be the sign of a slipped disk which could be leading to a cord compression, which isn\'t good

My back went and I\'m left with no balance on my left side, outside of my left leg is sorta numb all the time as are my three outer toes on the left foot. If I lean to the left I just keep on going...

That definitly sounds more than Siatica....Get yourself to see a Vet asap.

agreeed, next thing you know you\'ll start becoming incontinent and you have 24hrs to sort that out before you can turn back

hospital doesn\'t want to know - washed their hands of me, nothing they can do...

I did see the vet and he suggested a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry long sleep

only when I can\'t paint anymore
