BIG SDE Fan!

I started an accnt on Soda's Forum by they seem to be having some 404 technical problems as of late...
Anyway I stumble across SDE by pure luck, man that game is everything I ever wanted!
I am mostly into painting the minis more then playing the game, I dont have that many coworker willing to sit on a table and roll dice with me on the weekend =) Maybe I will find a group of gamers one day... One day.

Anyway, I fell in love with this game so freaking much that I got all the pieces that I could get!
Starter, both expansions, all 3 smaller boxes, all the limited edition stuff left and the 2 new mini bosses!
I will get some one my stuff later today! CANNOT WAIT!

It has been a while since I painted any minis... I was decent at it =) Ordered some new bottle of paint from Vellajo and Vellajo air... Let's see if I still got it!

Well congrats on getting into SDE! Depending on where you live it shouldn't be hard to find a gaming store to play it at.

I wish I could paint but I am not that good with a brush. What I have found that I can do is that of a wash. I just picked up the last wave of SDE and just finished giving them a wash. Do they look as good as someone who can paint? No, but they turn heads and people are impressed with how much detail the wash brings out.

I often find myself holding back laughter at someone who says that a wash is for people who can not paint. I just want to say that is my point. Even better is when the same person or people also say how much detail the wash brings out in said miniatures.

Enjoy SDE, I think the miniatures are great and nicely detailed. If you ever get the chance post some of your painted figures, I promise not to slobber over them...to much. :tongue:

Hi. If it interests you one of the things I've seen people do in the past (and something I'm trying to now myself) is replace all the Potion Tokens with small glass or plastic bottles or vials and fill them with colored sand or dyed water. Personally I'm aiming to get enough that any combination of Heroes in a Super Game won't be short on Potions and I want to dye some the Pink Potion color while other Heroes with offensive potions like Nyan Nyan and Von Wilding would use a lime green coloured dye. : )
