Been away for a while, havent checked in for a while. Any updates on the release being on schedule?
With any kickstarter, everything is on time, until it gets delayed. I asked in the comments if gencon would delay shipping and if gencon pickups were possible, but I have not gotten a response yet. Last we heard from CMoN (within the last week or two I think), everything is still on track.
I think he was true to that with posting today's update rather than running off to GENCON to let us figure out afterwards that there were more delays. As per the Update on the 14th things are still proceeding along on schedule.@Anthony
As per standard procedure, if you want a refund all you have to do is emailsupport@cmon.com

I take a bit of a personal offense in the statement "failure in this project". I have made every effort to announce delays when they happen and post updates when we have new information in hand.
I have seldom let a week go by without some sort of information for the backers, even if it has been usually "Things are progressing as previously stated, here's some cool painted miniatures and/or spoilers".
If that is not satisfactory to you... Well, I give all the information I have to give, if I had anything further I would give it. If backers feel the delay or the handling of things is not to their liking then of course they can request a refund and wash their hands of things, that's their choice and I harbor no ill will toward them for it. Miniatures In Color is of course no exception to that, and given your comments it would appear you feel quite strong about not wishing to back us, so as I previously said, if you wish for a refund simply email support@cmon.com and we'll get you all squared away.

Yes, unfortunately delays happen. No company is immune to this, it's just a matter of most companies can delay press-releasing or marketing of a product while these delays are handled. Kickstarter unfortunately mandates that an Estimated Shipping Time be posted with all of their projects, so we can only go off of what we estimate (go figure) to be our time of shipping. We can only account for delays to such a degree, and who's to say some other unseen issue will arise you didn't even think of. Again, other ventures can solve this by just not announcing their dates- that is not possible on Kickstarter.

Last update on 7-14 confirmed things are still on track for August/September shipping. If you're asking questions about the literal "state of play" then could you expand on what you wish to know? Thank you.
