Been a while - new stuff

Here's a new mini I painted yesterday, an old model I tidied up and a model I half painted 7 years ago that I finally finished. Not quite firing on all cylinders, but good to have a few things painted up.

That's some great stuff. Where did you get the plinth for the Dwarfs?

Thanks! The base is made from a standard GW movement tray which I built up the wall on, textured and made the teselating pattern with plasticard. The rails are also plasticard cut to shape and the base is parts of a textured cobbles sheet along with sand and whatnot.

Ha! Thanks. It's more of a speed thing I'm not getting right at the moment than an issue with the final quality, which I'm reasonably satisfied with. I do have a lot of other stuff going on, but I still know that I'm not churning out paint jobs at the rate I should do. Having said that, I plan on having at least a few more models (big uns at that) done by the end of the week.
