Aztek Nozzle Advice

I have an Aztek A470 set and to be honest it has seen very little use to date. For those that have them, which nozzles do you find work best for priming and base coating 28mm models? They will mostly be used with Vallejo paints, Model Air, Model Colour and Primer. I know Testors have a description for each nozzle on their website but how does that translate into real use?

Stick to the 0.4, the larger ones are probably too big. I've done baneblade sized tanks previously with a 0.3 without any hassle or problem :) Plus you can be more efficient with your paint!

So far I find the 0.4 nozzles, black, white and grey seem to clog very easily at the tip. The orange 0.7 seems to work ok, though it is very easy to put too much paint through it. I might try and put my hands on the red 0.52 and see how that works.

The clogging is just one of those things you get used to and comes from a build up of paint on the needle rather than a blockage. I've been told that it's "normal" when using normal miniature paints. On my Iwata I spray without the needle guard so it's really easy to just scrape the build up of paint off with a nail. If your guard is integral then a cotton bud/q-tip can be used to remove the paint build up.
