Not my taste in body decoration.
And just think of the changes in the line work by the time he gets to my age! It\'s gonna be a right blurry mess.

Couldn\'t see the guys at \"Miami Ink\" doing that one. lol

Its no more stupid than some of the things Ive seen tatood on people. And yes DR not sure it will be the same tat in 20 years time.

I also want to say OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah saw that first time round. I think the colours actually make it look like it would hurt more, just the red and yellow almost make it look inflamed and raw.

I will have to disagree with you there. In 20years time this tattoo will look the same, maybe a slight colour fade but it will not be blurred or any explosions under the skin. There are new inks, better equipment, new techniques and better artists around these days than 20-30 years back. As long as he does\'nt expose himself to the sun 24/7 and looks after his tattoo, I.E. always moisturise, it will stay fine.

Plus i love this tattoo, im not keen on colour much anymore as i prefer greyscale but i love it and how many people have you seen walking around with a Chaos Warrior on their back? exactly no one!! Good on him. i love it!

depends how the tattoist works. probably £60 per hour or between £200-£300 for all day (usually about 5-7 hour session)

And thats probably alot of sessions so i\'d say at between £900 - £1500. I could be wrong

That\'s excellent! Really cool on the colour front, even though I usually just prefer greyscale, too.

As far as there being far worse things to get done, that\'s too true. I\'ve done a fair bit of designing, but by far the most ridiculous commision was a Madonna, but in place of the sacred heart, she had to be holding a cup of tea! Why? Well, because \'I do like cups of tea\'...

Clearly the tattoo artist was not a real wargamer. If he had been, the tattoo would have been half completed and another army tattoo started. lol

just asked a friend of mine how much it would cost....since this is a really well done tat and incredibly detailed the price goes up. this would probably go for around $3,500 to $5,000 over a one and a half to two year period. one year if you are crazy enough to deal with the pain.

Pretty sure his mate did it for free though. The last time this was up it was linked to deviant art, where the tattooist had written an explanation of some sort.

Nope, Asavar was the 5th champion, the one before Archaon. The first was Morkar :D

(this coming from a long-time Chaos-er)

I\'d like to be his friend! I\'ve got a Waaagh! image I wouldn\'t mind having that large for free! I agree with Uberdarks friends cost estimate. I\'m looking at getting a half arm wrap and it\'ll be around $1500 for that alone.

I almost called fake/Photoshop as the colors are amazingly bright and the detail nearly unreal for a tattoo. Hope he takes care of it.
