thanks for the post! Really nice.. It is probably stupid and amateurish question ,but can you please explain what is freehand and weathering. Cuz I kinda understand but maybe someone can explain it like for a dummy.. ;) how it works!

freehand - follow the link

and weathering means applying effects of damage, weather, age, etc. on your models to make them look more realistic.

Thanks! That was what I was thinking ,but It is nice to get the confirmation And to finally put a name on what I have been doing with my models.

My favourite mini artist is back :)

Can i ask i saw u used different colours of basing the shield (white and blue i believe) before applying the colour(s) for nmm gold.

Did u just use snakebite or did u also use other colours; and did u wash it in to get the highlight effect with the white and blue undercoat or did u blend other colours in later??

Want to give your technique a try; any suggestions before i try???
