good how-to. thank you very much. I'd been thinking of trying this. All I have to do now is pick a victim...

I've been painting checkers on my Bretonnian knights for a while now, but the checkers always turned out to be larger on one side of the horse than the other.
Never thought of using a pencil, so this might be the solution.
But can you really see the lines you draw on a model that's been primed with Chaos Black? I definately need to try this.

I give this guide 8/10, since you could have shown if there's a difference between models made out of metal or plastic. You could also have showcased a few other models you made yourself with this technique instead of just the Harlequin wich was only half-painted.

Anwyay, kudos.

Yes, the shine of the graphite can be seen on Black/white/gray primed mini's.
And I only showed the one model as I did the technique. If you'd like I can post some of the finished Harley's that are in my army as well.
