This is just me, but if I were you I wouldn't post news that our users cannot act upon. If the pre-order is available on the 14th, then you'd get a lot more preorders posting on the 14th. We also usually don't allow double posting of news (since it's no longer "news"), so you're kind of hurting yourself by making a pre-announcement to announce your pre-order.
