argh, curse you internet explorer

:cussing: i was just up ALL NIGHT doing an article of reference pictures of knights in armour and because of some stupid error of my browser not opening a new tab and using that one i lost the entire lot. argh, so frustrating...i was on the last page too. its 5:16 am now ugh. lol oh well, time to try again tommorow lol.

isnt the net just wonderful sometimes, anyone else got any good examples of how frustrating the net can be?

God that sucks. Happens to everyone at some point if that\'s any consolation.

Even in Firefox CMON windows usually won\'t retain text if there\'s a connection glitch or a site issue. But Firefox is a much better browser in virtually every respect so it\'s worth using; you\'ll still need IE for some sites that are written to support only it (grrrrr).

And compose in Word! Or something. That way no matter what a browser does, or even if your PC crashes, you haven\'t lost everything you\'ve been typing for 40 minutes :)

There is an option called \"IE Tabs\" that can be downloaded for Firefox, and it works ok. It isn\'t perfect by an means.

Word should have no problem saving pictures inserted from an outside source. I know OpenOffice has no problem with that.

Better yet use Safari. :drunk:

Even better again use Safari on a Mac. :drunk:

I have a great system for sites that don\'t support Safari on a Mac (there aren\'t very many)... I don\'t bother with those sites. :drunk:

Because of that thing happend to me twice I write any posts that are longer than one page first into a normal .txt file and then just copy - paste it into the net.

Helps to save lots of nerves.

And not only CMON hast hat problem I had more problems at myspace...
