I bought A Jen Haley dvd where she worked along side Anne Foerster the name of the dvd is Masterworks Miniature Painting With Jen Haley and Anne Foerster. I now see that there is a new DVD called Miniature Painting Secrets with Jennifer Haley. I am wondering if I have the first DVD whether buying the second one that feature Jen excuslivley is redundant?
Are these two DVDs redundant?

Unless it's the exact same DVD, I don't see how it could be redundant. More footage means more time learning her technique.

I also have the second Haley video and absolutely love it! If I remember correctly, Jen has something on her website that talks about the difference between the two...I think...or it might be yet another video she did...lol!
One thing to keep in mind, videos may go over the same technique but if you're watching an artist 6 months, 1 year, or more later, their techniques are not going to be exactly the same. The pros don't stay static! They keep learning, perfecting and adapting too. So you may have to watch closely but seeing the adjustments in techniques would be quite valuable.
