I was given a bottle as a freebie by the nice people at the Command Post when I restocked my AV paints the other day (cheers David!) and wondered what the hell it is, anyone know what its intended purpose is?

I could only imagine it was wither some sort of \'glue\' for plastic, an undercoating substance for plastic or neither of the above :( Please aid my confused mind someone!

I\'m not really sure if it\'s the same, but at home I have a tube of Revell\'s Model Putty, which comes in a tube and has the consistency of toothpaste. It dries quite quickly and is meant to use to fill gaps in a model cause by an error in the casting of the mini. I also use it to create rocky surfaces on my bases

Definition of Plastic Putty.

OR

PLASTIC PUTTY
A modelling paste which dries to a white, totally opaque, stone hard finish. It is used principally for rebuilding or restructuring models and miniatures, for textures and high reliefs. For extra high relief the paste should be applied in layers, allowing each to dry before applying the next. If a more flexible paste is desired, mix with Gel Medium (5/5).
Characteristics: An acrylic paste of high density, containing marble dust.
Application: Straight from the tube, or with a spatula.
Packaging: In 20ml. tubes (boxes of 6) Ref. 70401 and bottles of 17ml. (boxes of 6) Ref. 70400.

Corvus is right, it\'s the same kind of product.
One thing: Don\'t put green stuff on it, or it\'ll go away (in fact, it\'s not very resistant...)

Thanks all, it was a freebie so I don\'t think it\'ll get much use, but I might use it to coat my palm tree demos for my webby, that might use it up so I get an empty pot teeheehee :)

I mean, if it was in a large tub maybe I\'d use it for basing texture, but in such a small bottle, what is the point, you\'d need a good few bottles for most bases, even for small minis...
