Anyone intrested in a little Nurgle-y compitition?

I\'m about to start working on converting a nurgle lord in power armor. Anyone interested in making it a little compitition?

I may be in a couple of days, I\'ve already spent my monthly budget for minis (I know it\'s only the 1st of September...I\'m bad ) but I\'ll see if I can convince the lady to let me get some bits for a nurgle lord.

I feel you. I have Dragon*con coming up this thurs-monday, So I\'ll be both busy and broke till then. I was just planning on using this ridiculously large tube of greenstuff and a normal plastic chaos marine or possibly a zerker, then raiding the bitz box.

Hmm, I think I have a spare chaos marine somewhere, and I have tons of greenstuff too. I\'m in, What kind of a time-frame are we looking at?

I\'m open to that. I\'ve got a 5 day block I\'m going to be missing soon. Shoot for maybe friday the 11th or sunday the 13th for sculpting to be done, and another week for basing/painting?

Yeah Looking forward to it, and clipping a berzerker off the sprue as we speak. their legs seem to be a little larger.

I\'ll post the night\'s progress pics tomorrow. So far, I\'ve finished the backpack with \"Wings\" conversion, Added a Mk 8 collar to the armor since my 2 Chosen space marine units wear scavenged Grey Knights bits, and finished the naked head. I\'m digging the jowls on the guy. Can\'t decide if I want to add a horn onto him yet.

So far he looks like this...

Can\'t decide If I want to get him a combi weapon or not, since It\'ll have to be modeled.

Started workin on mine and it somehow ended up as a half slug / half chaos marine...I\'ll have pics in a few days when the sculpting is done

hmm sounds interesting, ill tentatively get in on this, tight for time though. will start working on conversion tomorrow, nice round time period like september would be nice for a dead-line got a lot of other projects that i have to keep working on at the same time or ill never get em done. will try and get something complete by the 20th or so, i think you posted you were thinking around the 11th to finish conversion then a week or so for painting so that should hopefully work out alright.

I\'m totally cool with extending the deadline a bit. The more people that work on it, the more I\'m pushed to make it that much cooler

Little progress. I got pretty into it last night and wound up working on it a lot longer than I thought.

I\'ll have to take better pics of this later. My cannon XTi is at my fiancee\'s house.

Well I picked up the model for my entry today.
I\'ll be basing mine off of Huron Blackheart with a bit of resculpting. Should be ready for painting by Saturday!

Still have a ways to go on the conversion. I need to add a stomach and some guts, a nurgle diaper and some generalized rot all over him.

The question is do I want to tie him into the company of shadows Chosen I\'m working on and put the faces of lost souls on his armor.

Well most my conversion work is done, but since I am only half done moving, I have no way to finish him, which is putting me behind schedule. Hope to start painting this week though!
