Hmmm
After looking through this site and all over the web I have come to the conclusion that there is very very little in \"fluff\" painted WE/Berzerkers.
I have an all World Eaters army I am working on myself, and although the above photo is a great work of art, its not very \"official\" berkzer in looks. What I mean is, from all the great painted Khorne space marines out there ( including eavy metal ones ), nobody seems to be able to capture the real fluffy look of them.
World Eaters or Berzerks officaly are in a blood/crimson red basic color scheme with tons of brass, metal decorations and alot of skulls. Im working on trying to come up with a painting method myself to get them to look right, but having a few problems figuring this out.
Im debating about undercoating them in black, then building up from scab reds to a medium red on highlights, basicly Im trying to find a way to have the shadow areas an almost black color and mid areas a crimson then extreme highlights a fire engine red color almost, then maybe a few deep or medium red glazes, this is all easier said then done tho, as I experiemented on a few old metal chaos terminators and it turned out far too redish orange even with inks like magenta, so yea its a bit of a stumbling block for me.
Im going to say that Tammy Hayes World Eater on Juggernaught ( the one with the tiny faces etchings ) is probably one of the only \"true to khorne\" painted world eaters I have seen, right down to the brass metal.
