Another newb

Been lurking for a while,finally signed up. I am in awe of alot of the minis people have posted up. I haven't done alot of painting but building is a whole different animal. I can build all day and night,I find it relaxing & enjoyable ( as long as I'm left aloneissed-off: ) I used to build alot of scale models. Mostly muscle cars and a few exotics, but I have built quite a few Gundams and other sci-fi kits. I stumbled onto 40k and fell in love with it because I could build and customize the figures,but I am a little lacking in the painting skills ,but I'm learning.

Which figurines in 40k did you take a shine to?

Started with Ultramarines, then got some of the metal Grey Knights when they came out ( five or six years ago). Also took a shine to chaos. Mostly Black Legion. As for individual minis, SM Chaplains and Librarians, the plastic CSM Terminator Lord, and the GK Terminator.

If you like building, I'd be interested in seeing what you can scratch make, there are some great wip threads on many models people here have done - robots/marines/vehicles etc and they are always good fun to watch and follow. Enjoy your stay here!

So do you like any of the non Space Marine related stuff? I know jack sh!t about Space Marines, but a decent amount on the other armies.
