Another annoying request for comments and critiques

Hi, I finally broke through my painting block, and had time after building my husbands shop this summer (Never again will I agree to help him build a 20x24 ft steel building)
I painted a nice pair of hasslefree martial arts minis for an instructor friend.
I posted them this weekend, and would really appreciate votes, comments and critiques. Thanks for looking, and Have a great day!

From what I can see in the pics the minis look good! The setup with \'fighting ring\' looks very nice. I think, though, that you should have included close-ups on the individual minis, because it\'s nearly impossible to judge the quality of the paintjob from the pics you have now. They seem to be nice, but I can\'t say for sure. The garments seem to be very good. The skin could do with a bit more depth, but I need to see bigger pics to say for sure.

The stand is very impressive, though! Great work on that!

First, your shortcuts don\'t work, but I went to your gallery and found them.

I would love to see some close-up of the individual minis. Like the diarama.

The skin-tones look Asian in the photos.

The display base is very good. Source?

My only comment is I might have filled in the area between the circle and the top of the base with some different sand or grass.

Thank you all so much for the comments on my minis, I take it as quite the honor since I admire several of you and your minis!
I went ahead and posted the new picture to the site, the number is 75289, so if you want to revisit my martial artists and comment or vote I would really really appreciate it!

uh this is great! even if the sculpt is not the best, even if the paintjob is not the best (but it\'s a great job, anyway), THIS IS COOL!

If i\'d receive something like that as a present and i were a Martial arts instructor, i\'d start crying and jumping around!

this is a very nice idea, i\'d say even... CUTE :D

I help run the business for our martial arts dojo. This was the best idea I could come up with for our instructor, he told me later that is was his favorite present.
I agree it was a \"Cute idea!\"
