Anime Minis

I was wondering if anyone knows of a maker of anime minis. Not the large vinyl ones that I have seen a lot of, but 28-32mm metal ones. I have been looking for a line of anime style minis but all I have been able to find is one here or there.

There is a company called Anima Tactics that has out a skirmish anime game as well as some 28mm japanese shool girls from Eureka. Both of which I have on E-bay right now...cheap plug

I\'d love to see someone have a bash at some Bleach characters, anyone who has seen this Anime will know how much potential there is with all the different characters and cool shit that happens.

I\'ve got to say theres a lot of potential in the Anima Tactics range. I\'ve got a couple and I\'m really impressed with them. Right now the range is a little hit or miss, but some of the new models coming out look fantastic.

There is an Australian company that has some excellent 30mm ish Animi characters I thought I had book marked them but I can\'t find it :(

The only thing that stopped me buying if I recall was the shipping, I can\'t remember if it was the delivery time or the cost though.

The shadowforge figures are the type I was looking for. I wanted the cartoonish look with the big eyes. They look like the sculpt is a little off though. I don\'t know if it\'s the paint jobs or the minis themselves, but something looks a bit rough. I have seen the Anima Tactics minis before, but they aren\'t really what I was looking for. Plus, I am still a little intimidated by the busy-ness.

I took a peek at the Heavy Gear Blitz minis too. Those look like they\'d be interesting to paint. I usually paint females with big...weapons...so the Blitz line would really be different for me.

Some of the artwork from one of the new in-house Heavy Gear artists has been taking that turn. The Swords of Pride: Southern Army Book contained special rules for regiments of note which included, among others, the Killer Bunny Command Cadre, which adds a bit of humour to the otherwise gritty and militaristic world of Heavy Gear.
