Hello Guys,

I am a newbie so please forgive me if I sound stupid and forgive me if am posting this in the wrong place.

I checked the shop in this website and found Anima Tactic figures but the shop doesn't say if the figures come pre-painted as illustrated on the website or not.

So, my question is.. are these figures painted?

Thank you :)

Just bought some of them myself. They do NOT come pre-painted. They are pretty though. Be careful of a few of them, pieces that are extremely narrow are fragile.

Thanks Idof!
Do you know if I can buy a pre-painted version of Anima Tactics figures?
anyone offering any painted ones?

Well, the company does not offer pre-painted minis, but I'm sure you can find a bunch of people on this forum who do commissions. Might cost you a bit more, though ;)

Hey it's a legitimate question.
One thing to be careful of is that on some of the sculpts the detail in the faces is somewhat 'bland'.
But don't let that put you off buying any as some of them are really fun figures to work on.

Oh and welcome aboard!

You might also be able to find some for sale on the site. I haven't really scrounged around, but it wouldn't surprise me if someone was selling some. Which particular models are you looking for?

Thanks guys for the help!

I'm looking for Kirsten, Deadmoon, Frey and Freya for now.

I found some GREAT painting work done by some people but am not sure if these were for sale. I don't mind paying for the paint/assemble service if it was as good as these http://coolminiornot.com/237013

Well I just did a quick search through the trading post and didn't see quite the ones you were looking for. You may be able to find some on auction sites, but you could also look to commission them. If you can find someone you can commission whose work you like, and it'd probably help if they were relatively close to you, you may be able to set something up.

On the other hand, why not take up the hobby yourself? Painting isn't for everyone, but if you have the time and patience you may be far more satisfied with your own work.

Thanks Idof for your support, I really appreciate it.
I don't think I have time to pick another hobby but let's say I can get the time to pick up painting. Do you think I can reach the level of which I can paint miniatures in the quality I linked in my previous post? or does that require talent, knowledge, skill and secret technique?

Hey, no problem. I'm glad to help.

Can you get to that level of skill? Certainly. The question really is how long will it take you to get there. Some people do pick it up and have a natural knack for it, and some learn it slowly over time. I'm one of the latter. I've been seriously painting for maybe a year now, and I can't make something like that without spending 20 hours on a mini. Talent helps. Knowledge is KEY, but you can acquire most of it here. Secret Techniques? Well there are some articles posted on CMoN that shed light on those. Most of all it's about practice and patience. Think about it for a bit and don't make a split second desicion on the matter.
