Amount of figures per zone

The Kraken's Fury of the Locker attack targets all Zones within 2. My interpretation is this means the attack is performed against each targeted Zone; i.e., the three dice of its attack are rolled against each targeted Zone. I haven't found anything that clearly indicates either way, though.

Had the same struggle with my first and previous experience of the game, yesterday. By the way, my friend and I really appreciate the game!
So my questiosn are the following:

We count the range of "Fury of the locker" like suggested by the following:

1) I count the range as for a hero, so from the kraken tile i look orthogonally for the +2 range and this was I found. Am I correct? Thjis surprised us because it ripped appart the whole deckhands and bosuns, however it increased the speed of the game (which began to be too long) so i find it usefull.

2) On "Fury of the locker", I understood each team had to roll the attack for each zone inside a +2 range of the kraken (number of dice can change regarding to the number of kraken each team has in their pool)

3) Because our opponent had one more kraken in his pool then us, he had, on "Fury of the locker" to roll 4 dice with 2+ hit (and now that i look at it, I noticed that he should have roll 3 dice which hit only on 2+ but each hit would have done 2 damage...).

4) Again on "Fury of the locker", I understood that if both teams had the same number of kraken, they should roll the basic 3 dice with hit on a +3 roll on each of their zone.

5) On the "Into the depth attack" We pushed the previous range by one, giving us this shape of area :

6) For "Into the depth attack" we followed exactly what the tile suggest, step by step, meaning that even if no heroes was be KOed by the roll (dice roll gived us a 2 on the only heroes in this zone), we make the kraken disappear.

If everything is right, so I understand how much badass is the kraken: tough guy!

Thank you for correcting me.

As I understand, on a +1, u take out the kraken pool of each player, reseting the kraken value for everyone to "0", from that point, kraken can be summoned again as the kraken pool is built during the game.

He can just not return back once he has been killed. Well i did not find where I read that, but it was an answer from Michael Shinall, the designer of the game, on https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/168788/rum-bones

Where do you put guys you can't fit in the square?

Kraken apart, the question still alive...
if i've 4 members of the crew in front of an enemy and i've other 4 on the back, how can i put 8 minias in the same suqare?
and if i wish to go also with the big guy?
12/15 minias in 1 square??
How do u fit them??

Cram them together and leave space around the ones that are extending into other zones. It's rare you'll have two such populated zones adjacent to each other. Use the empty zones nearby for your spill-over.

I expect that many figures in a zone to be a short-lived occurrence. The value of so many crew members in one zone should draw attacks that thins them out (or else something higher priority, like winning the game, is about to happen).
