Hi guys,
While browsing the wide webs I stumbled onto this beautiful paining guide for Diva and Legolas (in French) http://hobbytimeblog.blogspot.be/se...00-08:00&max-results=7&start=21&by-date=false
Now, besides the excellent paint jobs, it was her alternative to basing that took my interest: replacing them with transparent acrylic disks. A link is given to a website to order them and everything. (http://www.litko.net/BMaker/)
For regular heroes, the size of the disks of 24mm diameter is suggested so the guild-rings can still be applied. Cutting out the bottom of the base gives the following effect:

Unfortunately, there's not information on the base size for the pets out yet. If I'm going to order these, I'd rather orther the whole set in 1 go because the shipping to Europe is crazy expensive. Anyone have an idea what diameter would work for those? I'm thinking 12 (half of the regular hero size).
