Hi all, I\'ve recently started up a gaming club in the secondary school that i work in. So far my members are a few year 9 boys (aged 13 to 14) and they are all beginners. Does anyone have any advice on the best ways to teach techniques and any other general advice tips on running a successful club in a school. All your help would be greatly apprecciated as I realised today that im not very good at teaching which is okay because im not a teacher, thanks, capt m

Depends, what kind of gaming club is it. Role Playing, Miniature battles, Historical gaming? Each type is often run a bit differantly due to the differances in the games.

well the school club that i weent to was pretty decent.

One thing to do is to contact your local GW as they gave us LOADS of stuff. Dont know if we had to pay for it but it would be a good starting point.

Bunting you crack me up! I should have specified it is a GW club and i want to have aspects of modelling, painting, scenery building and actually playing the game as well. I have been in the hobby for 15 years (on or off) but have never actually played the game before.

Well, listen to TheCadian. GW can give you plenty of help as part of their gaming club network or whatever it is.

EDIT: Here\'s the url to GW\'s schools clubs.
