Hello everyone,
This is my first post on CMON - I stumbled upon this website recently and I've been addicted to trolling through the articles/minis etc ever since! (I apologise if there's similar threads stickied which I haven't found yet).
I'm currently working on a small diorama of Warhammer 40K Space Marines. I'm wanting to have a squad of Assault Marines jump-packing their way over an Acid Pool/Stagnant Lake or something of that description.
I've just bought myself a bottle of Water Effects C1212 by Woodland Scenics. Having never worked with a Water Effect product before I was looking for some guidance.
For example:
Can I mix in Games Workshop paints to give it that 'acid' look I'm after or is it best to let the product cure a few hours before beginning to shape/add in paints etc? Does anyone have specific tutorials on how to make 'acid' i.e. bubbling lakes etc.
FYI if you've never used it before the product has a thick, PVA, type texture and dries clear in 24 hours.
Any information is greatly appreciated
Niall.
