A question about Rep Power...

How do you earn rep power?
Is it based on your points or do you have to click something give points?
Sorry if I done see the answer somewhere.

Yeah, you're not the first one to wonder about that.

From the way I understand it, Rep Power isn't just reputation; it also takes into account a lot of other sources as well.

Things like number of posts, how long you've been registered, etc. are all considered when calculating Rep Power.

Someone has to click your "Rep" button that appears on your posts directly under your Rep Power score, next to the "Report" button.

How do I know what reputation I have received?
You can view the reputation that you have received in your User CP (User Control Panel) where it is displayed at the bottom of the User CP page.

So where's that then?

I now have 7 but I don't know why dammit!

Click on the link*, go down to the bottom of the page, under the subscribed forums and discussions (if you have any) is Latest Reputation Received.

You already have rep based on your posting history/activity before the switchover to vBulletin.

*The User CP is also always available when viewing the forums on the top strap, all the way at the left.
