A Question About Infinity

Hi all,
Just wondering a couple of things about Infinity.

Firstly: while I know that their stuff is sold in the CMON shop, what is shipping/customer service like from Infinity themselves? (the particular box set my mate was after is up on their website but not in the CMON shop, specifically the "The Imperial Service" Set).

Secondly: what sort of quality can be expected from the castings etc. ?

Lastly: what is the game like, is it fun etc.

cheers all

I thought this was going to be about something deep and philosophical. Don't know about the game, but I like infinity's mini's.

Models are very detailed and clean cast though more true 28mm than GW random scale. As for the rules do not just read the rulebook, it will hurt and you will give up. Being active and reactive rather than having a turn structure is a head fuck to read but if you play as you read it's actually really simple and lots of fun. It's just not what most gamers are used to conceptually.

Darn, wrong "infinity." I do love infinite discussions, I could go on all day ...

So, let's say you are the owner of the infinite hotel with an infinite number of rooms, all of them currently occupied. An infinite bus arrives with an infinite number of passingers. How do you get them rooms?

Tell them to wait til the other infinite guests check out at 11:00

I believe the "textbook" answer is "move every guest into the room # that is 2x their old one, eg. #201 goes to #402 etc. This frees up an infinite number of rooms for the new arrivals." Of course this makes no actual sense but it does highlight how bizarre infinity is as a concept (much like the Infinity rulebook, apparently).
