Once again, I'm bothering you with my week's doings. Hope you enjoy the ride as well as I do!
First, the basecoat. Once again, I used my easy-to-do rust technique to give some texture to the arm.
Then, I started painting some details all over the place. Here's the ammo feeding box and the battle damage details on the main barrel:
I then painted some of the plates with a number of thin layers so the rust could still show in some places, like the paint was slowly being stripped by the weather and damaged by use in many battles...
The final step was to paint and place the grot-guided rokkits. I still think that there's not enough details on these so, when everything is done, I'll spend some more time adding scratches and dirtying the bits I find too clean for my own good.
Next step, the main hull/body, where I finally get to do some conversions. What do you think so far? Is this project interesting to you or are you all yawning your heads off?
