I would love to do this, but my painting is crap compared to most people, I mean, 4 months experience really isn\'t painting comp material, my stuff is alright, its just not super.

Just enter goddammit. Honest, its about fun and enjoying what you do not about worrying you arnt good enough to compete.
I see comps now as a way to get involved with others in something. OK it would be nice to win but that hardly comes into it.
